Earlier today, Huawei introduced its latest flagship phablets, the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in Kenya. Samsung has cracked the premium smartphone segment but the company is still struggling with the entry level sector. The company has some good high-end phones but the same cannot be said about its entry level phones. The Infinix Hot 6X just had its price reduced on the company’s own ecommerce platform, Infinixmall. The phone is now available through the ecommerce platform for Ksh 14,799. This is for the 3GB version, there is a 2GB version that is available for Ksh 12,699. Google has announced that it plans to deprecate 32-bit only Android applications later this year. The company has said that developers should ensure their apps meet its 64-bit requirements by August this year. In a statement, the search giant said, “64-bit CPUs deliver faster, richer experiences for your users. Telkom Kenya plans to use Ksh 1 billion to expand and optimize its 3G and 4G network in the country.
