Google has announced new Play Store policies to help crack on scammy apps. The new policies touch on how apps are presented to users on Google Play Store. They touch on several things, including app descriptions, titles, and icons. First, app titles will be limited to 30 characters and should not include keywords that imply store performance, promotion in the icon, title, and developer name. Roku users can no longer access YouTube TV after the expiry of the distribution agreement between Roku and Google. Roku nixed YouTube TV from its channel store on Friday, immediately after the agreement’s expiry, with no new agreement deal. The standard YouTube app is, however, not affected. Spotify is increasing prices for most of its plans in certain regions. So far, subscribers in the US, UK, and some parts of Europe will have to pay additional fees to continue streaming music on the platform ad-free. Streaming giant Netflix has increased subscription prices in Kenya. The company notified its paying subscribers of the new pricing set to begin as early as May in an email.
