Samsung Launches the International Variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro

A9 01

Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy A9 Pro in March this year. This phone was initially launched in China and the company did not inform us if it was going release an international variant for other markets. The Galaxy A9 pro came with some notable specs including a 5,500 mAh battery, 6 inch display, 4GB of RAM and a 16MP camera at the back.

A few months after the Galaxy A9 Pro was launched in China, we started getting reports that the company was thinking about launching an international variant for other markets. The device got Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications a few weeks a later and that is when we knew that Samsung was serious about launching it.

The international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro is finally available but in a few select countries. The device is already available in retail stores in Malaysia where you can get it for $500 (approximately Ksh 51,000). Samsung Malaysia has not listed the device on its site though but we expect it to be up there very soon.

Since the Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is available in Malaysia, we should expect to see it in other international markets very soon. At this point all we can do is sit back and wait for official communication from the company.

As for the Specs, the Galaxy A9 Pro international model comes with the same specs you can expect to find on the Chinese variant.
