Sylvia Mulinge is leaving Safaricom this September to pick up her new role as the CEO of MTN Uganda. She is currently Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer, a position she has held since July 2021. Absa Bank has announced a new partnership with Visa to unveil a new  domestic and cross-border remittance service, Absa Visa Send Money. This service allows users to make person-to-person money transfers and persons-to-businesses payments via the Visa Global network. Telkom has today announced a new partnership with Lipa Later. Through this partnership, the company says the process of acquiring new smart devices will be much easier.
