If you have been planning to buy the new OPPO F9, you should be excited as there is a new color option available in Kenya. When OPPO announced this phone back in September, you could only buy the twilight blue or sunlight red one. The company said that the Starry Purple would be available in the country later in the year.

Well, you can now buy the Starry Purple one that I have to say is my favorite and is the one you should be getting. It is available for Ksh 35,990, the same price the other F9 variants are available for so you are not spending more on this. These days, your smartphone is not just used make phone calls and send texts only, you want something that looks good when you take it out of your pocket.

“Today’s customer is in constant move. We have therefore developed OPPO F9 Starry Purple to fit in with this nature and lifestyle, and to create a new trend in the industry,” said James Irungu, PR and Communications Manager of OPPO Kenya.

We have been seeing bold smartphone colors recently and the OPPO F9 is just one of them. Having seen and used a good number of smartphones over the years, I have to say that the black, gold and white colors do not excite me anymore and I am always looking out for new and bold colors. Right now, I am a big fan of red and blue smartphones or any other bold color that I can get.

Back to the Starry purple OPPO F9, it comes with the same specs as the standard F9 as you will see below.

Some of the key specifications of the OPPO F9 are:

    Display Size: 6.3 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels

Storage Space: 64 GB, can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card

    GPU: Mali-G72 MP3
