Westcon-Comstor has launched a new artificial intelligence training programme aimed at helping channel partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) develop the skills needed to deliver AI solutions.
The Secure Artificial Intelligence Learning (SAIL) programme was developed by the distributor’s Cisco-focused Comstor arm. It combines sales enablement, technical training and practical insights from real-world AI deployments. It seeks to support partners at different stages of their AI journey.
The programme also provides access to expertise across the AI ecosystem, including consulting and digital services specialist SoftServe.
The main aim of SAIL is to help partners strengthen their AI knowledge, improve customer engagement and accelerate the delivery of AI-ready infrastructure solutions.
Since its launch, more than 400 partners have registered for SAIL sessions. Initial training modules have focused on NVIDIA AI Blueprints. Additional sessions covering other AI use cases and infrastructure requirements planned.
“AI represents a huge growth opportunity for the channel, but from our conversations with partners, it’s clear that many are still developing the commercial and technical skills they need to take advantage of it,” said David Blackburn, EMEA Architecture Lead, AI Ready Data Centre at Westcon-Comstor. “The SAIL programme is designed to help bridge that gap, bringing together practical business enablement, technical training and expertise from across the AI ecosystem. It gives partners the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to have better customer conversations and ultimately deliver successful AI solutions.”
SAIL forms part of Westcon-Comstor’s broader strategy to help Cisco partners pursue emerging technology opportunities and develop services-led businesses around high-value solutions.
