After weeks and weeks of waiting, Samsung is finally ready to launch the Tizen-powered Z2 smartphone in Kenya. The company was to launch the phone back in September but that did not happen. It looks like Samsung finally got around to launching this phone as the company has just sent out invites for an event taking place tomorrow where the Samsung Z2 will be the star of the show.

Below is the invite sent out by the company.

The Samsung Z2 will be the first Tizen-powered smartphone that the company will be launching in Kenya. It is also the first 4G powered Tizen smartphone that Samsung is using to expand to other markets that are yet to see Tizen smartphones, Kenya is one such country.

Below is a look at some of the specs you get on the Samsung Z2.

Display Size: 3.97-inches with a resolution of 800×480 pixels

    Processor: 1.5GHz Octa Core Processor

    RAM: 1 GB

Storage Space: 8 GB expandable to 64GB

    OS Version: Tizen 2.4

Camera: 5MP at the back with a 0.3MP one in front
