Infinix will be launching the Hot S smartphone in Kenya before the end of this week. The company has confirmed this saying that the phone will be sold exclusively through Safaricom shops, it will not be available on online stores such as Jumia.
The Infinix Hot S has been launched in a few other markets including Nigeria and it seems like Kenya is finally coming to Kenya. The phone will go on sale this Friday and its price will be in the Ksh 16,00 neighborhood. This is quite affordable if you look at the specs the phone comes with.
Infinix has been teasing the Hot S all week long using the tagline “All Eyes on Me.” From the photos I have seen, the phone is clearly a beauty and we are looking forward to review it once it is available in the country.
As to why the company is going with Safaricom, we are yet to establish that but it is a good thing to see the company try different channels as it expands its presence in the country.

What about the Infinix Hot 4?
If the Hot S is not the device for you, you will be happy to know that the company is planning to launch the Hot 4 in the country next week. The Hot 4 is slightly cheaper than the Hot S and will be available on online stores including Jumia.
Jumia is already teasing this device with the tagline “talk more.” This tagline hints at the massive 4000mAh battery the phone comes with. As for price, the Hot 4 will be in the Ksh 9,000 neighborhood. This is slightly higher than the Hot 3 that was launched a few months ago. The Hot 4 will be the first device in the Hot series to come with a fingerprint sensor, this will be one of the cheapest smartphones in the country to have a fingerprint sensor.

The Hot S is a much better device in my opinion.
