For those who own the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge, you are in luck as Android 6.0 has started rolling out to users of these devices in Europe. With this initial roll out, Samsung is clearly ready to push it out to all Galaxy S6/S6 edge users globally. Since the update has just started rolling out, you may have to wait a few weeks before you can get it here in Kenya.

This is an Over The Air (TA) update so you will get a notification when it’s available in your area. You can also look out for the update manually by going to the settings page. Samsung has not said anything about its other Galaxy devices getting this update but am sure we will be seeing this in the next few weeks.

Samsung is expected to introduce its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7, and this update to last year’s flagship has come at the right time. It is very strategic for Samsung to roll out the update at this time before its new flagship is available on the market.
