Earlier this year, Instagram said that it will be implementing a number of changes to its platform throughout this year. The company did not say what these changes are but we know that the changes are meant to keep users engaged and as the photos sharing app looks for new ways to attract advertisers. The Bloggers Association of Kenya has announced that Safaricom will be the title sponsors of the BAKE Awards 2016.  Safaricom joins a few other companies that will be sponsoring the 2016 edition of the Awards and these include EatOut Kenya, Xpose, Samsung and Coca Cola. A few weeks ago, we told you that Sony had started pushing out Android Marshmallow update to some Xperia devices including the Xperia Z2, Z3, Z3 Dual, and Z3 Compact phones. Barley a month after unveiling its 2016 flagship, HTC has announced the One S9 smartphone to take care of the upper mid-range market segment. A few days ago, we told you about the beta version of Microsoft’s Word Flow keyboard for iOS. With the beta app being tested, we knew that its official launch on the App Store was to happen very soon but Microsoft had not confirmed this so all we heard were speculations. MIUI is one of the best Custom ROMs to land on the Android ecosystem. The ROM comes pre-installed on every Xiaomi phone you buy and you probably know about it if you have used any of their devices. Samsung will be releasing its next smartwatch, the Gear S3 in September this year. According to the Korea Herald, Samsung will be announcing the Gear S3 at IFA 2016 in Berlin an event that will be taking place between September 2 – 7.
