It is only April and we have already seen a number of smartphones launch in Kenya. These include the Xiaomi Note 11 series, OPPO A96, Samsung Galaxy A53, realme 9i, Huawei nova 9 just to name a few. All these are great phones and we are expecting even better devices to launch in the country in the coming weeks.

Over the coming few weeks, we are expecting smartphones from Xiaomi, OPPO, Infinix, Samsung etc. In this post, we will be highlighting the top smartphones that have been confirmed to be coming to Kenya either this month or early next month.

Some of the devices are already available on pre-order in Kenya and if that is the case, I have included a link to those who might be interested in doing so.

    Xiaomi 12 Series

This is the one that I am really looking forward to. The Xiaomi 12 is the successor to the Xiaomi 11 series and it does compete directly with the Galaxy S22 series and iPhone 13 series. The Xiaomi 11 series was a good phone and 12 is even better. Xiaomi is really upping its game with these premium devices and I am excited about that.

    Below are its key specifications

The second smartphone that will be launching in Kenya in the coming weeks is the Huawei nova 9 SE. This is the smaller brother to the nova 9 series that has been in stores in Kenya for a few weeks. We have not heard about Huawei that much this year given the issues the company has with Google. The company isn’t taking the back seat anymore and the nova 9 Se will be its first phone that gets a decent marketing budget in 2 years.

Below are the key specs of the Huawei nova 9 SE.
