The OPPO A96 is Now Available in Kenya for Ksh 37,000

OPPO A96 in Kenya

OPPO Kenya has announced the availability of its latest smartphone, the OPPO A96, in Kenya. You can get the OPPO A96 in Kenya from Jumia for Ksh 37,000 and other smartphone retailers across the country. The price will vary a bit depending on the retailer you buy from so try shopping around if you want a better deal.

The OPPO A96 comes with a display that supports 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Oppo A96 Price and Availability

The OPPO A96 is priced at Ksh 37,000 as I have already mentioned. At this price, it should to some extent compete against the Redmi Note 11 Pro that you can get in Kenya for about Ksh 34,000. The redmi Note 11 Pro has been in stores in Kenya for a number of weeks so the A96 has some catching up to do. Besides the Note 11 Pro, there is also the vivo V23e that is available for about Ksh 34,000.

The OPPO A96 comes in two color variants of Sunset Blue and Starry Black.

OPPO A96 Specifications

The OPPO A96 has a Glow design and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor and Adreno 610 GPU. Interestingly, this is the same processor you will find on the Xiaomi redmi Note 11 that is available starting from Ksh 20,000 for the 4GB/64GB variant. What sets the A96 apart is that it is powered with 8GB of RAM and comes with ColourOS 11.1 which is based on Android 11.

The OPPO A96 has a 50MP main camera which is paired with a 2MP portrait camera. For selfies, it has a 16MP front-facing camera.

Have a look at its other specifications below.
