Itel Kenya is set to announce a new brand ambassador tomorrow. The company has been teasing this through its social media pages but is yet to reveal the name of the individual. We will not have to wait for long as it has been confirmed that the new brand ambassador will be announced tomorrow.

Having a brand ambassador is very important as they are the ones who will be endorsing your brand turning people into potential customers one by one. Brand ambassadors are normally popular individuals who may help the brand reach bigger audiences. This is exactly what itel will be hoping to achieve with its new ambassador that we will know more about tomorrow.

We have seen itel’s sister companies work with celebrities as sort of their brand ambassadors such as Sauti Sol with Infinix. Itel may also work with a musician or a band but we are not 100% sure yet.

The announcement event will be streamed online via itel Mobile’s social media pages including Facebook and YouTube.

The new brand ambassador will probably help popularize the new itel A58 that was launched in the Kenyan market recently. The phone is available in stores for Ksh 8,650. We do not hear much about itel as the company normally focuses on devices that do not require aggressive marketing to fly off the shelves. The itel A58 is the latest in the company’s growing portfolio.

The itel A58 is quite an upgrade when compared to its predecessors. It is still an entry-level device and that is evident from its specifications. It builds on the itel A56 that we saw in Kenya back in 2020. This is almost two years ago and the series needed refreshing and the A57 is the device to do this.

Below are some of the key specifications of the A58.

    • Display: 6.6-inch (720×1,612)
    • Front Camera: 5MP
    • Rear Camera: 5MP
    • RAM: 1GB
    • Storage: 16GB
    • Battery Capacity: 4,000mAh
    • OS: Android 11 (Go edition)

Keep it here for the full information on the brand ambassador that we will be able to share tomorrow.
