Showmax has today announced a new partnership with Safaricom that will see subscribers get a 2-month subscription to the video streaming platform and 1GB of data. According to Showmax, this should make it easier for subscribers to pay and watch for content on the platform. The company says that its customers have been asking for one data and subscription package and this should address that.
This 2-month bundle is 1-month extra from what is currently being offered and should help get people to start using the platform.
Through this new partnership, customers will be able to choose from two main bundles:
- Showmax Mobile (60 days) + 1GB Safaricom data for KES 389
- Showmax Pro Mobile (60 days) + 3GB Safaricom data for KES 1299
The deal will be valid all the way through to 31 March 2022 and is exclusive to Safaricom customers. It is applicable to new and existing Showmax subscribers. To get this offer:

- From there, you can sign in and choose the bundle you wish to activate and pay for it via M-Pesa.
