This has been the company’s main focus area and with every new Nokia smartphones, it is guaranteed to get two major software updates and in most cases three years of monthly security updates. This has been the case for not only the premium devices but also for entry level devices.

If you have been using Android for a number of years, then you know that not many manufacturers support their entry level phones. Most just stick with their flagship devices and ignore the entry level ones altogether.
