Vivo is finally ready to unveil one of its latest smartphones in Kenya. This new phone, the vivo V19, is set to be launched in Kenya in about a week (24th June). We told you about this expected launch about a week ago but back then we did not have the exact date as to when it was going to happen.

The vivo V19 is the successor to the V17 Pro that I reviewed last year. I really loved this phone and I am expecting a similar experience with the V19.

According to the official statement distributed by the company, vivo V19 will hold an L-shaped quad rear camera with a LED flash and a dual punch front camera at the right corner which is the first-ever for the Kenyan Market. One can also find an in-display fingerprint sensor under the AMOLED screen of the phone. As of now, two-color variants of smartphones are visible in the poster.

The vivo V19 will be a camera centric phone and this is evident with the 6 cameras it comes with. At the back it has a quad camera setup with a dual one for selfies. The quad camera setup at the back is made up of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera. The front camera will capture with its 32MP and 8MP sensors.

The phone comes with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 33W FlashCharge 2.0.
