BlackBerry is currently working on yet another smartphone that might be unveiled before the end of the month. This smartphone was codenamed Argon but its final name will be BlackBerry DTEK60. We have been hearing about this phone a lot the last couple of weeks and now we are getting more information including its specs and price.

A leak shared on the pre-order page of the BlackBerry DTEK60 reveals that it will retail for $499.99 (approximately Ksh 51,000). BlackBerry hasn’t officially confirmed this price but since it was on the pre-order page, we are inclined to believe it.

Besides the price, the leak also reveals some of the specs you should expect to see on the BlackBerry DTEK60. Some of these specs include a 5.5 inch QHD display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage space and a fingerprint scanner.

The above shared specs are the same ones shared by Evan Blass back in July. He also revealed that BlackBerry had plans to launch the DTEK60 in October and it looks like he was right as this latest leak confirms that the company will launch the phone before the end of this month.

The DTEK60 will be BlackBerry’s third Android smartphone. The other two are the DTEK50 and the BlackBerry Priv that was launched back in 2015. Besides these, we are expecting yet another phone from the company before the end of the year. The company had plans to launch three Android smartphones this year and it looks like the company will be sticking to its schedule.

The third Android phone from BlackBerry is codenamed Mercury but we are yet to see any specs that it may have.
