The Nokia Z launcher is one of Nokia’s latest moves and has been created by the part of Nokia that has not been affected by the acquisition by Microsoft. Just to clarify, Microsoft bought the mobile division of Nokia and left everything else. This means that Nokia is still able to work on new products such as the Nokia Z launcher.
The Nokia Z launcher was received well by the tech world mostly because of its simplicity. This seems to be the road Nokia is willing to take even with the latest updates. The update brings new enhancements that include the ability to remove or uninstall items with a long press, drag and drop favourites and better support on a couple of popular phone mode.
Nokia has also opened up the Z launcher to more users and is currently available to those who signed up for the first beta version and were not able to get it.
Nokia has said that the launcher is still in beta as there is still room for growth before its available to everyone.
