Samsung Introduces The Galaxy Tab 4 Models With 1.2GHz processor, 3MP camera and 1.5GB of RAM

Samsung today unveiled their next tablet, The Galaxy Tab 4, that has been the source of rumours for the past couple of months. This new tablet comes in three variants, the 7.0 inch model, the 8.0 inch model and the bigger 10.1 inch model.

All these Galaxy Tab 4 variants have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the one on the Galaxy Tab 3. With this low resolution, you should not expect to have very clear and detailed screen especially if you opt for the 10.1 inch model.

Under the hood, you will be getting a quad core 1.2GHz processor with each variant and a 3 Megapixel camera at the back. The front camera will even be lower capping at 1.3 Megapixels (Samsung is not a fan of selfies after all).

Combining the 1.2GHz processor and the 1.5GB of RAM will make these tablets easy and fast to use. Of course not the fastest in the market but still good for light use.

The battery capacity of the three devices vary slightly. The 10.1 inch variant has a 6,800mAh one, the 8.0 inch model has a 4,450mAh juice pack while no word yet of the battery capacity on the smaller 7.0 variant.

In my opinion, Samsung has really tried on the a little battery, RAM and processor bit, but that’s just all. All the remaining features are not that exciting for me and I think Samsung should have done better. Well, that’s just my opinion, if you agree or disagree with this, let me know in the comment section below.
