Kenyan solar energy company SunCulture has launched a new company-wide profit-sharing programme aimed at giving employees a direct financial stake in the company’s growth.
Dubbed RainDrops, the programme covers all full-time employees across the company, including engineers, sales managers, credit officers and support staff.

According to SunCulture COO Jon Saunders, the initiative is designed to strengthen employee ownership and align teams around the company’s long-term growth.
“Every team member deserves to share in the value they help create,” Saunders said in a LinkedIn post announcing the programme.
SunCulture, which provides solar-powered solutions and climate technology to smallholder farmers across Africa, says the programme is also intended to support a stronger and more resilient culture as the company expands.
