Women Who Build Africa (WWBA has announced that its next flagship assembly will take place in Nairobi on February 5–6, 2026.

WWBA will also host Founder Workshops in Nairobi and Johannesburg on October 23, 2025 as a build up to the flagship assembly. These are designed to give women entrepreneurs access to connections, resources and visibility.

The WWBA Assembly has become one of the most important gatherings for women in tech and entrepreneurship in Africa. Over the past few years, the initiative has led to real-world outcomes, including investments made off the back of connections at previous events, partnerships between startups and ecosystem players, talent opportunities such as new hires and co-founders meeting through the platform and encouragement for aspiring founders to launch their ventures

Organizers say the 2026 Assembly in Nairobi will bring together high-potential founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders for two days of discussions, networking, and deal-making opportunities.

    How to Apply

Applications are now open for women founders building early or growth-stage ventures in African markets. Selected participants will also be added to the WWBA founder database, giving them visibility to potential investors, partners, and collaborators.

With Nairobi cementing its role as a key hub for African innovation, the 2026 Assembly is expected to spotlight the continent’s next generation of women-led startups.
