Water and energy are the world’s conjoined twins, and they should always be protected and preserved. Appliances such as washing machines that reduce both energy consumption and water usage are an underrated blessing.

With evolutions and the push to have appliances that support sustainability, Samsung’s Bespoke AI washing machines are some of the appliances that use artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies to help reduce energy consumption and water usage.

“As the world is prioritising smarter, more efficient home appliances, we’re thrilled to be launching the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo™…,” said Moohyung Lee, EVP and Head of the Customer Experience Team for the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “By integrating AI and heat pump technology, we aim to provide our customers with a more convenient and energy-efficient laundry experience.”

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo™ is designed to increase space without compromising functionality. This all-in-one combo seamlessly integrates a washer and dryer into a single unit, providing a space-saving and efficient laundry solution with broad functionality. It performs as effectively as two separate machines while conserving valuable space and, more importantly, eliminates the need to transfer laundry between those machines after the wash cycle finishes. This means users don’t have to keep checking the wash cycle’s progress in an attempt to prevent unpleasant odours, and they can use their time more flexibly.

“We know that there is a great opportunity for washing machines to contribute to a more energy-efficient lifestyle,” added Moohyung. “With our newest washing machine lineup, Samsung is taking the next step in achieving that goal while also revolutionising the laundry experience.”

Samsung says the Bespoke series includes products that are 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% more efficient than standard A-rated washing machines. So, no matter which product the consumer selects, it still provides energy-efficient benefits. Plus, thanks to SpaceMax™ technology, the new products enable a large capacity of 11 kg while the outside dimensions stay the same.

The Samsung BESPOKE AI™ Washer was showcased by the tech brand at IFA 2024 as one of its latest appliances. It’s engineered with efficiency in mind to help save as much energy and water as possible in every load.

The appliance leverages the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver an impressive 55% greater energy efficiency thanks to the Ecobubble Bubble Shot technology. The unit works alongside the AI Home system with its seven-inch LCD touchscreen to reduce water use, minimise energy consumption, optimise cleaning capabilities in every load, and more.

The Samsung BESPOKE AI™ Washer also works with the SmartThings AI Energy mode, which allows users to monitor and manage power consumption in real time directly from within the app.
