The Infinix Hot 30i is one of the latest smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer to launch in Kenya. This phone is available in retail stores for Ksh 15,500. This is almost the same price range its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 20i, was launched for. The Hot 20i was launched in Kenya late last year and we did not get to see much of it afterwards. The company hopes things will be different with the Hot 30i which you can now get in Kenya.
As expected, the Hot 30i is an affordable smartphone and that is evident from its key specifications. It comes with a 6.56 inch display with 720p resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. 90 Hz refresh rate is impressive for a smartphone within this price range. The phone also has 4GB of RAM that can be expanded to 8GB. This phone also has 128GB of internal storage space that can be expanded to 1TB using a microSD card.
Compared to the Infinix Hot 20i, the Hot 30i has a few improvements but not that many. These improvements are meant to make the Hot 30i stand out from competitors that have launched locally recently.
