LG Electronics East Africa has recently made a move to cut prices on select home appliances and electronics, with discounts ranging from 12% to 17% across various products. This decision is part of LG’s 2023 strategy to increase accessibility and affordability for all customers through customer-centered innovations and price cuts. The discount period will run from February 1st to February 28th and will be available in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, through all LG Brandshops and leading electronic outlets.

LG has partnered with its distributor Opalnet and other electronic dealers nationwide to provide customers with savings of up to Kes 40,000 on select products, including refrigerators, televisions, home theaters, XBOOM Soundbars, and dishwashers. For example, customers who purchase the 14 Place Setting dishwasher can save up to Kes 20,000, while those who buy the 65-inch LG UHD 4K TV can save up to Kes 21,000.

In addition to the price cuts, LG has added an extra incentive for customers by giving them a chance to win a holiday for two or shopping vouchers by purchasing LG refrigerators and washing machines from LG OPALNET branded shops. To participate, customers need to take a photo with their purchased home appliance or electronics and post it on LG’s social media platforms, with the most liked and commented images being rewarded with the holiday and gifts. Winners will be announced on February 25th through LG Electronics EA’s social platforms.

This move by LG Electronics East Africa aligns with their 2023 strategy, which includes a strong offering of customer-centered innovations to build a better life for all, and their 2030 ESG blueprint, “Better Life Plan,” which aims to build accessibility and easy use of their products and services for the disabled and elderly.

LG Electronics East Africa is offering customers an opportunity to save money on their purchases of home appliances and electronics while also giving them a chance to win exciting prizes. With price cuts ranging from 12% to 17%, customers can save anywhere from Kes 7,000 to Kes 40,000 on select products until February 19th.
