HMD Global has added a new device to their C-series family is the Nokia C12. This new smartphone brings enhanced imaging, the latest battery technology, top-notch security, and improved performance, all at a price that fans of the brand will love. HMD Global, the company behind Nokia phones, has ensured that the Nokia C12 is a device that is both efficient and durable, making it an attractive choice for those looking for a reliable smartphone.

Adam Ferguson, the Global Head of Product Marketing at HMD Global, says, “What people love about Nokia phones is how extremely resilient they are. The new Nokia C12 brings exactly that, with added camera smarts and improved performance.” This is a testament to the brand’s commitment to delivering quality devices that can withstand the test of time.

    The Nokia C12 Specifications

The Nokia C12 comes with a stunning 6.3” HD+ display, making it perfect for reliving memories captured with the device’s enhanced imaging experience. The device features Night and Portrait modes on both the front and rear cameras, allowing users to capture images with confidence, no matter the lighting conditions.

One of the standout features of the Nokia C12 is its efficient use of data and storage. The device runs on AndroidTM 12 (Go edition), which gives users an average of 20% more free storage, allowing them to store more music, pictures, or even HD videos. It does run with a Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset and an octa-core processor. It has two memory configurations: 64GB 2GB RAM and 64GB 3GB RAM. The device also comes with 2GB of additional virtual RAM, making it faster and more responsive when navigating between apps. The performance optimizer carries out regular “Spring cleaning” to free up resources and save data, which will go a long way in extending a user’s mobile plan.

The main camera is an 8 MP camera with LED flash and HDR and the front-facing camera is a 5 MP camera. The phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and has a microUSB 2.0 port. It also has an accelerometer and proximity sensors. The battery is a 3000 mAh Li-Ion removable battery

The Nokia C12 is 30% faster when opening apps, thanks to its powerful octa-core processing and greater memory. This makes it a great choice for those who lead busy lifestyles and need a device that can keep up with them.

Security is a top priority for the Nokia brand, and the Nokia C12 is no exception. In a world of growing cyber threats, the device comes with top-notch security features that work in the background to keep users safe. The C-series family promises at least two years of regular security patches, ensuring that users are protected from potential threats.

Nokia C12 Price and Availability in Kenya

The Nokia C12 is available in Kenya from today, in three color options – Dark Cyan, Charcoal, and Light Mint. Prices start from KES 11,000, and the device comes in 2/64GB memory and storage configurations, with support for up to 256GB additional memory.
