Realme has announced the availability of the realme 9 (4G) that is available in Kenya for Ksh 28,899. This is one of the two smartphones the company has launched in Kenya this month, the other one is the realme C35 that is available for around Ksh 19,500. The realme 9 (4G) should not be confused with the realme 9i form earlier this year. The two devices have slight differences that might make you choose one over the other.
In a statement on the launch of the realme 9, the company said, “The realme number series is the most popular with young people in this and other markets around the world because it provides a premium imaging experience that exceeds expectations from beginning to end. As we unveil this incredible model, we anticipate a positive response in the region.’”
There is no clear reason why the realme 9 (4G) is being launched in Kenya months after the realme 9i was launched. The company should have launched a different device altogether just to diversify its portfolio.
