The Infinix Note 11 Pro succeeds the Note 10 Pro that was quite a powerful smartphone in its own right. The Infinix Note 11 Pro is the latest from the company to launch in the country and you can get it in stores for around Ksh 27,500.

The Infinix Note 11 Pro is the first smartphone from the company to come with the Helio G96 processor that has been praised to be a powerful gaming processor. This is one of the recent processors from MediaTek and Infinix is among the first companies to have it on its devices.

I have been using the Infinix Note 11 Pro for a few weeks and in this review I will be sharing my full experiences to help you decide if this phone is worth your money. This phone comes with some decent specifications including a 5,000 mAh battery, a 120Hz display, 64MP main sensor just to name a few.

Have a look at some of its other key specifications below.

    Display: 6.95-inch; 1080 x 2460 Pixels

    Chipset: Helio G96

    RAM: 8 GB RAM

    Storage: 128GB

    Rear cameras: 64MP Triple camera

    Front camera: 16MP

    Battery: 5,000mAh

Before we get to the details of what else the phone has to offer, let us first look at what you should expect to get in the box when you buy this phone.

    Design and Build Quality

The Infinix Note 11 Pro feels and looks premium and that is what you will notice when you take the phone out of the box for the first time. It does feel modern and well-built and worth its price.

    Infinix Note 11 Pro back

It is an Infinix Note device and is thus huge and you will most likely need both hands to operate it.

The back cover is made of plastic with a matte finish that looks stunning. The matte finish is a nice addition as it also ensures that you do not get the greasy prints as is the case with phones with a glossy finish. The back also has a slightly textured feel to it as well. This not only looks good but also helps with grip which is always a good thing to have especially for a smartphone of this size.

I got the Note 11 Pro variant with the haze finish that looks stunning.

    Infinix Note 11 Pro bottom

I like the overall design of the Infinix Note 11 Pro, it is simple and modern. The triple camera module is at the back and will definitely grab your attention. The headphone jack is at the bottom together with the USB C port. The power and volume buttons are on the right with the fingerprint reader embedded underneath the power button. The dual SIM tray with microSD slot is on the left of the phone.

    Display

The Infinix Note 11 Pro has a 6.95-inch display with a Full HD resolution. This display has a 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This helps with smooth scrolling and can be perfect for gaming. The display has auto brightness and at peak brightness it can be used under direct sunlight and still offer a good experience.

The size of this display is huge and this is going to be perfect for watching movies and videos. The phone has stereo speakers that make the media consumption experience even better.

You can access the notification panel by dragging down the left side of the display. Dragging down the right side of the phone brings down the control centre that gives you access to the main toggles and customization features that you may need quick access to.

    Performance and software

The Infinix Note 11 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processor that has been paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. If the 8GB of RAM is not enough for you, it can be extended to 11GB through a feature called MemFusion. I have covered what that is all about in this post.

    Infinix Note 11 Pro review

The phone handles really well and was able to take everything I threw at it. There were no noticeable performance lags during my review period and this is quite an improvement from the Note 10 Pro which was already a good phone. The biggest upgrade with the Infinix Note 11 Pro was with its performance and this was clearly what I experienced with my review unit. You can read more about my performance aspect of this phone here.

    Cameras

    Infinix Note 11 Pro camera

The Infinix Note 11 Pro has three cameras at the back including a 64MP main sensor, 13MP telephoto lens and 2MP depth sensor. The main sensor takes very good shots in different lighting conditions but the same cannot be said about the telephoto lens that does not maintain the same color as the main sensor. Even with that said, the shots you will get with the back camera will not disappoint. Night shots are also good and you can get good details even when the lighting is not so good.

The 16MP selfie camera is also quite good and I did manage to get some decent shots with the front facing camera.

    Battery

The Infinix Note 11 Pro comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that easily lasts an entire day. This battery supports 33W fast charging and with that you can charge the phone fully in less than 2 hours.
