vivo v21

Vivo has today announced that it will be unveiling its next smartphone in Kenya this month. The company has confirmed this and the launch date is expected to be June 21.

The vivo V21 comes with a 44-megapixel selfie camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is the world’s first smartphone to feature this. The camera is not the only stand out feature on this phone, it also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate which is becoming common these days and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor.

The display of the vivo V21 features an E3 AMOLED display with the back having AG Matte glass. The display is a 6.44-inch one that as we have mentioned has a 90Hz refresh rate. This is not the highest but it is still good enough.

The MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage space. For the OS, the phone comes with Funtouch OS 11.1 that is based on Android 11.

A triple camera setup sits at the back of the vivo V21 and this is made up of a 64MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. Some of the camera features include 4K video support, Art Portrait video, Ultra-Wide Night mode just to name a few.

Providing all the power is a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Vivo V21 price and availability

The vivo V21 will officially be unveiled in Kenya on June 21 but its price is still unknown at this point. It should be right around where previous vivo V series devices were available for and this should be around Ksh 40,000. I will update you on the exact price when we get that information.
