YouTube Kids Expands to More Countries

YouTube Kids is an alternative to YouTube targeted at kids. The kid-friendly version has been available in Kenya for a long time, but the platform is yet to reach every territory with YouTube’s presence worldwide.

As part of its expansion plans, YouTube kids is now available in 11 more countries. The new additions are all located in Central and South America.

The full list of countries that can now access YouTube Kids include;

  • Bolivia
  • Costa Rica
  • Dominican Republic
  • Ecuador
  • El Salvador
  • Guatemala
  • Honduras
  • Nicaragua
  • Panama
  • Paraguay
  • Uruguay

In Africa, YouTube Kids is available in dozens of countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. With the latest expansion, the service is now available in over 110 countries around the world. In support documents, Google said it is working on expanding YouTube Kids to other countries.
