Samsung was late to the Android 11 beta party, but the company has been making amends recent weeks with One UI 3 beta rollouts on its flagship phones. The company has already seeded out three beta versions of its custom Android skin based on the latest version of Android.

According to the company, they will start rolling out stable versions of One UI 3 this November or later. As usual, over the air updates can take weeks, and in some cases months, to reach everyone around the world.

The company is anticipated to kick off its Android 11 update roadmap with the latest flagship series phones under the Galaxy S and Note branding. Samsung is currently testing Android 11 beta on the Galaxy Note 20 and S20 series phone in select a handful of countries.

Some key One UI 3.0 feature include redesigned Quick panel and notifications shade, and Android 11-style media control widget,  the dynamic lock screen now picking from 10 different image categories, and more ways to customize your phone with the Good Lock app.

In a post detailing the big changes in One UI 3, Samsung also mentions new features coming to its first folding phone, the Galaxy Fold, like Dual Preview and Camera preview already available on the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

The availability of some One UI 3 features, apps and services may, however, vary depending on the device, country, region and carrier.
