Vivo plans to launch yet another smartphone in Kenya. This new smartphone is the vivo Y20 that will be launched in Kenya on October 8.

The vivo Y20 is one of the latest in the company’s Y series line. This series is made for the youth and that is evident with some of the key specifications devices in this line-up come with. The Y20 is an entry level or mid-range device, depending on who you ask, and that will be clear once we get to its specifications.

The vivo Y20 comes with a 6.51-inch display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 460 processor that has been paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. It runs Android 10 out of the box with Funtouch 10.5 custom UI.

As for the camera, the vivo Y20 comes with three at the back. This setup is made up of a 13MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors. For selfies it has an 8MP front facing snapper.

The phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports vivo’s proprietary 18W fast charging technology.

Vivo is yet to reveal how much the Y20 will be available for but we should have those details in the next one week or so.
