OPPO A53 Set to be Unveiled Tomorrow

oppo a53 launch

OPPO A53 is almost going official in some markets. If you’re familiar with the company’s A-series lineup, you definitely understand that not-so-long-ago, OPPO introduced OPPO A52 in the country. The phone has been selling locally for nearly three months at Ksh 24,999.

So if you plan to buy OPPO A52, it’s high time to reconsider because a successor is coming. Customarily, successors are always better due to the incremental updates included.

The phone’s design isn’t widely different from its predecessor. OPPO A53 still has a punch hole selfie camera, and the rear camera bump is rectangular shaped housing several lenses. The significant difference is the position of the fingerprint sensor, at least from what can be seen in an image. It has now been moved from the side to the rear.

OPPO A53 will ship with a 5,000mAh battery capable of 18W fast charging. The display might measure 6.5-inches – similar to OPPO A52 – although some new development in this sector is on the panel’s refresh rate. OPPO A53 display will have a 90Hz refresh rate. OPPO A52’s HD+ resolution will reportedly be retained despite the slight bump in the display’s refresh rate.

OPPO A53

OPPO India has already pinned down a launch date for the official unveiling. In India, OPPO A53 will be launched tomorrow – 25th August 2020. The company’s India subsidiary touts the phone as a faster and smoother device referring to the higher refresh rate.

Other details about the phone remain unknown as of now. Howver, tomorrow’s unveiling in India shall give us a full look at the phone’s ins-and-out. In Kenya, OPPO has not yet revealed launch plans for the device, but we shall provide an update once they do.
