Today is the day when Apple is expected to host its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2020. The event, unlike previous ones, will be an online-only event. The shift to online-only is not a surprise, considering many events have had to adapt to the current prevailing situations brought about by the pandemic.

Microsoft also did the same with its Build Conference.

Apple’s WWDC 2020 event will see the company detail on what’s next for its next-gen software iterations across Macs, iPads, and even iPhones. The announcement is expected to be centered around iOS 14, iPadOS 14, WatchOS and tvOS.

Plus, a major announcement is expected on the future of Apple’s Macbook hardware. As you may already know, Apple is reportedly planning to shift to ARM-based processors ditching Intel.

In fact, renown Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, earlier this year suggested that the company plans to start shipping ARM-based Macs next year, in 2021. This means Apple will start shaping their own future for the MacBooks just like they do with their iPhones and iPads.

But let’s see if that turns out to be the case later today.

Start Time and How To Watch WWDC 2020

Apple WWDC 2020 keynote event will begin at 8.00 PM local time. The event will be live on Apple’s event page or you can also watch it via YouTube.
