Google for iOS devices is finally getting an update that has been available to Android users for some time. This latest update introduces personalized topics that give users more control over their Homepage and Up Next videos.

Google has announced that personalized topics on Home and Up Next will be rolled out to YouTube on the web and iOS. It took Google long enough to roll out this feature to iOS but the good news is that it is finally available. On Android, the feature has been available in English on YouTube for Android.

The update has just started rolling out so it will take a few weeks before it is available on all iOS devices. Unlike on Android, the feature will also be available in a few more languages including French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Google has also announced that it will add more personalized topics including additional types of YouTube Mixes, Creators, Music, Gaming, and Learning Topics.

To be able to use this feature, all you will have to do is tap a topic on Home and you will start seeing videos related to that specific topic on your feed. In the Up Next videos, you will start seeing topics related to the video or channel that you are watching at that moment.

Watch out for these and other changes on your YouTube app in the coming months.
