These 10 Netflix Documentaries are Available to Watch for Free on YouTube

As the pandemic continues to overwhelm countries around the world and more people forced to work from home, students have also been forced to continue studying from home in one way or another. For students, Netflix wants to help them continue learning while at home by availing some of their documentaries directly on YouTube.

These are mostly educational documentaries, aimed to teach students a thing or two but there’s also binge-worthy for the rest of the population as well.

“We hope this will, in a small way, help teachers around the world,” the company said in a statement.

One of the freely available documentaries is Abstract: The Art of Design, an awesome docuseries that dives deep into the world of design.

The series was first released in 2019, with Season 1 featuring 8 full episodes. It explores the mind of the world’s greatest designers, and dives “beyond blueprints into the art, science, and philosophy of design.”

Another binge-worthy docuseries available is called Explained. Explained is a docuseries for curious minds, which explores a variety of interesting topics from politics, to science, to history and even pop culture.

In total, the company has availed 10 different documentaries on its YouTube channel.

Each documentary has its own educational materials available, to be used by both teachers and students.
