The Huawei Y6s is officially coming to Kenya. This is the latest smartphone from the company to be announced for the Kenyan market. The phone will available in retail stores as from March 4 but there is a pre-order period for those who want to be among the first ones to own this phone. The pre-order period kicks off on February 24 and goes all the way to March 3.
The Huawei Y6s will be available in Kenya for Ksh 14,000.
From the look of things, this phone takes over from the Y6 Prime from last year. With that said, I will be comparing the two and share that information with you when done.
You will be able to get the Huawei Y6s from Huawei branded shops and most smartphone retailers across the country. With the issues Huawei has with the US governments and with Android, the company has had a slow smartphone roll out phase and launching a new device at a time like this when not everyone else is equally as active is strategic. Those consumers looking for new smartphones will notice the Y6s and hopefully buy one.
