The Vivo Y19 is now in Kenya. This is the latest smartphones from Vivo and it is available in the country for Ksh 27,000. You can get this phone through Vivo branded shops countrywide. The Vivo Y19 is the 5th smartphone from the company to launch in Kenya. The others include the Vivo Y90, Vivo Y12, Vivo Y15 and the Vivo Y17 series.
At Ksh 27,000, the Vivo Y19 is competitively priced and will be head to head with the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 and even the Huawei Y9s that we saw towards the end of last year. This segment is very competitive and Vivo wants to conquer it.
The Y19 comes into the market when the mid range segment isn’t that active. This is the first phone in this segment to launch in the country this year. It is definitely a positive move from Vivo which is a new entrant into the Kenya smartphone space.
