Officially unveiled in the country less than two weeks ago, the Huawei Y9s is the latest device in the Huawei Y9 series in Kenya. This phone comes with a handful of upgrades when compared to its predecessors, the Huawei Y9 2019 and the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.

The Huawei Y9s is now available on pre-order in Kenya for those who have been waiting for this device. The pre-order period will run for one week and those who take part in it will free headphones from the company. The official retail price of the Huawei Y9s in Kenya is Ksh 31,999.

You can pre-order the Huawei Y9s in Kenya through Huawei retail stores across the country, these are not just the main Huawei brand shops but most smartphone retail stores across the country. If you want to do so online, you can do that through Jumia.

Speaking of the Pre-order, Huawei Mobile Kenya Country President said, “There has been so much interest in the market following the launch of Huawei Y9s, an indication that there is high demand for our products by consumers who are very confident in our products.  As we roll out the pre-order campaign, consumers are encouraged to walk into any of the retail stores across the country and make the pre-order. We are confident that over 1000 pre-orders will be made in the coming week ahead of the official availability of the devices in all our retail stores beginning of December. “

“If you are into gaming, you will love our latest device. Gaming on the HUAWEI Y9s is an immersive experience, thanks to its unique Ultra FullView display that takes away all kinds of notches and bezels that treats gamers to 6.59 inches of FHD+ gameplay area. This is made primarily by moving the 16MP AI selfie camera to the top edge of the phone, where it remains hidden until activated upon which it automatically pops up.” He concluded.

Below are some of the key specifications of the Huawei Y9s.
