You’ve probably come across a swarm of rumours and leaks about Samsung’s Galaxy S10 lite and Note 10 Lite. The two are Samsung’s new phones that are the budget models of their 2019’s Galaxy Note 10 and S10 flagship phones. So the two aim to bring some of those premium specs to a lower and more affordable price point.

The two are almost identically spec’d with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution. The front sports a punch-hole cutout placed at the upper centre of the display, which houses the selfie camera. As usual for Samsung, that is termed as an Infinity-O display.

The battery can hold a massive amount of juice up to 4500mAh.

For storage of your media files, both the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite ship with 128GB of onboard storage. They also come in two memory configurations; either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. On the software front, both run on Android 10.

Aside from this, other features of these devices are varied in different ways.

Straight out of the box is the S Pen included in the Note 10 Lite, which is borrowed from its bigger siblings in the Note series.

For the chipsets, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is powered by Qualcomm’s 2019 flagship processor – Snapdragon 855 – while the Lite variant of the Note 10 features Samsung’s in-house Exynos 8895 SoC.

The camera hardware is pretty different, too, although they both offer a triple-lens setup on the back.

    The S10 Lite sports a 5-megapixel f/2.4 macro lens, a 48-megapixel f/2.0 wide-angle lens with “Super Steady OIS” and a third 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor with a 123-degree field of view.

    For the Note 10 Lite, you get a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, a 12-megapixel f/1.7 wide-angle lens (with dual-pixel technology and OIS) and a 12-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens with OIS as well.

    Price and Availability

Samsung has not shared any details on when we should expect these phones to go on sale. Furthermore, they also haven’t shared any details on the price of the two.
