Many social apps have been pushing for e-commerce features on their platforms and Facebook has not been left behind. The company is finalizing on a new feature for Whatsapp Business called ‘catalogues’.

This catalogues will help businessmen and women on Whatsapp Business to share inventories of their products with fellow Whatsapp users. Whatsapp is simply making it easier to learn about the products and services businesses offer with the introduction of catalogues to their app.

The company explained that the new catalogues feature will give small businesses a chance to look more professional. Catalogues will act as mobile storefronts for vendors and users will be able to discover a list of goods and services provided by them.

To create the catalogues, you will head to your WhatsApp settings and then to the catalogue section. Below the catalogue are instructions that Whatsapp Business Merchants can follow to fully understand how to go about the whole thing.

This feature is available for both Android and iPhones alike and will roll out first in select countries like US, UK, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Indonesia and India before rolling out worldwide.
