ASUS Unveils Its New Laptops Powered By The 10th Gen Intel Core Processors

A couple of days back, ASUS revealed some of its new laptops that will be powered by the new 10th Generation Intel Core processors to its commercial and consumer laptop lineup. With the new processors, users are promised better battery life and advanced performance.

The new 10th Gen Intel Core processors will be available in the ASUS PRO B9 (B9450), the ZenBook Duo (UX481), ZenBook 13/14/15 (UX334/434/534) and ZenBook Flip 14/15 (UX463/563).

The ASUS PRO B9 (B9450)

At only 880g, the ASUS PRO B9 is the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop. Its powerful specification includes dual PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage with RAID 0 and RAID 1 support for faster data retrieval and backup. Powered by up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, it also has a four-sided NanoEdge display with a remarkable 94% screen-to-body ratio for a compact 13-inch profile, along with seamless connectivity with Intel Wi-Fi 6 (GIG+ 802.11ax) and Thunderbolt 3. ASUS PRO B9 is designed to deliver advanced mobile experiences by leveraging next-gen technologies. In common with other ASUSPRO laptops,

ZenBook Duo with ScreenPad Plus

ZenBook Duo is an ultraportable laptop featuring the new ASUS ScreenPad Plus, a revolutionary full-width secondary touchscreen that offers endless creative possibilities for content creators, allowing productivity-enhancing workflows and easy multitasking. It integrates seamlessly with the primary display, and the integrated ScreenXpert software includes a wide selection of useful apps, tools and utilities that allow users to easily enjoy the efficiency benefits of ScreenPad Plus.

ZenBook Duo delivers effortless creativity with up to the 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to Nvidia GeForce MX250, ultrafast PCIe SSD storage, and seamless connectivity with Intel Wi-Fi 6 (GIG+ 802.11ax).

ZenBook 13/14/15 with ScreenPad 2.0

As well as now incorporating up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, the ZenBook series also has the ScreenPad 2.0. This interactive secondary touchscreen upgrades the traditional laptop experience, with a new smartphone-like interface that enables easy task management and allows the creation of seamless multitasking workflows.

All models in the series feature a four-sided frameless NanoEdge display, with up to a 95% screen-to-body ratio that gives them an incredibly compact footprint.

Other high-performance components include up to NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, ultrafast PCIe SSDs and Intel Wi-Fi 6.

A new color, Icicle Silver, is also introduced for the new models.

ZenBook Flip 14/15 with ScreenPad 2.0

The new ZenBook Flip 15 and ZenBook Flip 14 convertible laptops now also feature the ScreenPad 2.0, an intelligent touchpad that incorporates a secondary LCD touchscreen. ScreenPad 2.0 enhances both productivity and creativity, with an improved smartphone-like interface that makes ZenFone Flip even more versatile.

The slim-bezel NanoEdge touchscreen on both models ensures compact dimensions. ZenBook Flip 15 features a PANTONE Validated version that delivers superb color accuracy for content creators.

Powerful performance across the range is provided by up to the latest 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, with up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q GPUs, ultrafast PCIe SSD storage and the latest Intel Wi-Fi 6.

Local Availability

The ASUS PRO B9450, ASUS ZenBook Duo (UX481), ASUS ZenBook 13/14/15 (UX334/434/534) and ASUS ZenBook Flip 14/15 (UX463/563) will be available by the end of the year in Kenya. I will update you on the pricing and additional information when I get it.
