Instagram Plans to Make it Easier to Post the Same Content To Multiple Accounts

If you have ever wanted to post the same content to your different Instagram accounts at the same time, you had to do it manually for each account, a very tedious task if you ask me. You may be wondering, why would you want to post the same content to different accounts? Well, there are people/brands who own/manage different accounts for one reason or the other and may want to share the same content on the different accounts.

If you are such a user, you may be getting a break as Instagram plans to make it easier to share the same content on your different accounts at the same time. The feature has been spotted by some Instagram for iOS users and I expect to see it on Android soon. With this update, you will not have to manually post the same content on the different accounts one after the other.

The users who have spotted this new Instagram multi-account posting option have seen under the “New Post” screen on their iOS apps. The Facebook-owned company has also confirmed that it is testing out this feature. The feature is only available on iOS and the company has not said anything about its availability on Android but my guess is that we should see it very soon.

This feature supports both photos and videos content shared to the timeline but we are not sure if users will be able to post Insta Stories to different accounts at the same time. This may seem far-fetched but may end up happening for the same reason why the company has decided to allow posting content to multiple accounts.

This change by Instagram is one of the many moves the company has been making to keep its platform appealing and easy to use. The question is, will it lead to spamming or dull timelines as the same content is shared on different accounts?
