The OPPO A3S is the latest smartphone from the company to make its way to Kenya. This is one of the cheapest smartphones by the company and is retailing at around Ksh 16,990 which is an affordable price compared to some of the company’s other devices such as the OPPO F5 and the OPPO F7. You can get the OPPO A3s in Kenya on Jumia or any of the OPPO retail stores in the country.
The price of the OPPO A3s in Kenya puts its head to head with the Infinix Hot 6 Pro, Huawei Y7 Prime 2018, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus just to name a few. I will be watching how OPPO positions this phone and if people end up choosing it over the three others that I have mentioned.

As you can see from the specifications above, the OPPO A3s is a decent smartphone for its price. It is the perfect phone for anyone who has always wanted a smartphone from the company but could not get around to buying the expensive F series.
With this phone, OPPO is hoping to get a new group of customers who may be looking for brands they may not have used before. These are the customers the company will be able to convince to get its more expensive devices in the future.
Selling affordable device (under Ksh 20,000), the company can increase its market share locally, something its owners want to do. The company has been spending a ton of money on advertising and it has to ensure that this works out not just for one line but for its brand in general.
