A few days ago, I told you about the latest smartphones from Infinix, the Infinix Hot 5 and Hot 5 LTE has been announced. The company has just announced these two smartphones but there was no information as to when we would get them in Kenya.

Well, now we have information that both the Infinix Hot 5 and Hot 5 LTE will go on sale in Kenya on August 28. This information was shared through the company’s Twitter account but did not reveal the price of the phone. All the tweet has revealed is that the phones will be available in Kenya in about 5 days and will be available through Kilimall.

Below is the tweet the company shared.

Kilimall already has a dedicated page that has also confirmed that the Infinix Hot 5 and Hot 5 LTE smartphones will be available for sale on August 28. From the look of things, it seems like the Hot 5 and Hot 5 LTE will be available exclusively through Kilimall, at least for now. We are used to seeing Infinix partner with Jumia for exclusive launches but going with Kilimall isn’t that bad.

Here are some of the specifications you should expect on the Infinix Hot 5

    Display Size: 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels

    Processor: 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MTK6580 processor

    RAM: 2 GB

Storage Space: 16 GB, can be expanded TO 32GB using a microSD card

    Android Version: Android 7.0 Nougat

Camera: 8 MP at the back with a 5MP front facing one

    Battery: 4000 mAh removable battery

Besides the Infinix Hot 5 and Hot 5 LTE, the Infinix Note 4 Pro will also be launched exclusively on Kilimall on the same day, August 28. This phablet will be the first from Infinix to come with a stylus pen. The price of this device is still unknown but I don’t expect it to be above Ksh 18,000.

Below is a look at some of the specifications of the Infinix Note 4 Pro.

Display Size: 5.7 inches with a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels

    Processor: 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6753 processor

    RAM: 3 GB

Storage Space: 16 GB, can be expanded using a microSD card to 128GB

    GPU: MALI-T720
