OPPO has been positioning itself as the smartphone brand to choose if you are looking for superior camera performance. The company is increasingly focusing on the selfie camera and not just the main camera at the back. Last year, we saw the OPPO F1S that we reviewed and really loved. You can read about that using the link below.

With the F1S out of the way, OPPO is back at it again with another smartphone that it will be unveiling this month in Kenya. This new smartphone will be the OPPO A57 that has a 16MP front facing camera that is placed at the top left corner. It will also have a rear end camera which is a 13MP with a LED flash. This phone also comes up with a beautify 4.0 which help capture breathtakingly detailed photos, giving bright, head-turning shots even in low light.

The best part of it being the new bokeh effect which will give the selfies an effortless distinction, offsetting the subject of the photo with a blurry background.

Just like most other smartphones from OPPO, the A57 has a full metal uni-body design with curved edges. The phone will be available in Gold with a sleek back finish. OPPO has really been focusing on the desing and build of its smartphones as a way to differentiate them from other mid-range smartphones on the market.

The OPPO A57 will come with a 5.2 inch HD display and will come with Android Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 preinstalled. Powering it will be a 2900 mAh battery.

OPPO is yet to say anything about the price of the A57 but we will update you on that once we get more information. We are also planning to review this device once it is launched in Kenya so watch out for that.
