Last night, Samsung officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and S8+. These devices will officially go on sale in select markets as from April 20. Here in Kenya, Samsung plans to launch them officially on the 5th of May. The company revealed this last night at the Unpacked 2017 livestreaming event it had at the Two Rivers Mall.

Samsung Kenya is yet to confirm the retail price of these two phones when it launches them locally. Internationally, the Galaxy S8 will be available for €699 (approximately Ksh 77,000) while the S8+ will be available for €799 (approximately Ksh 88,000). When launched in Kenya, expect the phones to retail within these price ranges.

Samsung also said that those who wish to pre-order the phone will be able to do so in the next couple of weeks. Those who pre-order the devices when that window is open will still get their devices when they are officially launched in Kenya (May 5).

To get you excited, check out the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ specifications.
