Google is getting ready to launch its first Pixel smartphones that we have heard so much about the last couple of weeks. The event will start in about four hours but even before this, one retailer in the UK decided to share some of the specs of both the standard Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.

The retailer shared the photos yesterday probably due to excitement but took the pages down a few moments later. Even with this, screenshots had already been taken so it was a little too late for the retailer. The retailer did not just leak the specs but also shared some high resolution images leaving nothing to imagination.

The leaked photos and specs do not introduce anything new as we have heard about the specs listed and even seen the renders of the two phones. The leak sort of confirms what we have heard about the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.

These phones are not designed to compete with the likes of premium Huawei or Samsung phones from the looks department. If you are interested in phones that look good, these are not the ones to get, let’s hope that they can compensate this when it comes to performance.

For specs, the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones come with some decent ones in my opinion. The standard Pixel is expected to have a 5 inch display with a Full HD resolution while the Pixel XL has a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD resolution.

Both devices are powered by 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 processors paired with 4GB of RAM with either 32 GB of 128GB of internal storage space with no MicroSD card slots. They both come with Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled.

At the back the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones have 12MP cameras with 8MP front facing ones. Also at the back is where you will find a fingerprint scanner with the Pixel having a 2770 mAh battery and the Pixel XL having a 3450 mAh battery.

We will know more about these two smartphones in a few hours so keep it here to learn more.
