Samsung is finally ready to launch its 2016 flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 7, the phablet will be launched in less than 12 hours at an event in New York. We have seen ton of photos of the Galaxy Note 7 including the retail packaging giving us a clue on what to expect when the phone is officially unveiled.

These latest photos are not blurry as the ones we have seen before and also show the Gold retail packaging which looks very beautiful. From the photo, you can also see the dual-edges display of the Galaxy Note 7.

Check out the Galaxy Note 7 below.

As mentioned above, the phone will be announced later today with pre-orders set to open in a day or two.

A few features we expect on the Galaxy Note 7 include a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, this translates to a pixel density of 515 ppi. The phablet will come with either the dual core Snapdragon 821 processor or the Quad core Exynos 8893 processor. The Qualcomm variant will be available in the US while the Exynos variant will be available in other global markets. Both variants will have either 4 or 6GB of RAM with 64/128/256 GB of internal storage space.

As for the camera, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with a 12MP unit at the back and a 5MP front facing one. The 12MP unit used here is the same one found on the Galaxy S7 which was launched a few months ago. we also expect the Note 7 to come with Android 7.0 Nougat, it will be among the first smartphones to come with this new OS.

We will know more about the Galaxy Note 7 when Samsung officially unveils it later today.
