Last week, we saw the leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) which gave us a clue as to what to expect from this smartphone this year. If you remember from the 2015 lineup, the J5 came with a bigger brother, the J7 which has slightly better specs. 2016 is not going to be any different as just after the J5 leaked, the Galaxy J7 (2016) also surfaced online showing us what to expect from this smartphone.

Just like the J5 (2016), the Galaxy J7 (2016) has already been certified by Chinese regulator TENAA and this means that the device is ready to be launched anytime from today. Before the official launch, the official images of the Galaxy J7 (2016) have been leaked online and if I were to guess I would say that this smartphone will be launched within the next three weeks. Check out the Galaxy J7 (2016) for yourself below.

As you can see from above, the J7 (2016) looks similar to the J5 (2016) with size being one of the main differences.

The specification of the Galaxy J7 (2016) have not been confirmed but here are the speculated ones. We have heard that it will come with a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution. It will be powered by either a Snapdragon 615 or Exynos 7870 processor (both are octa core processors) paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space that can be expanded using a microSD card.

The original Galaxy J7 was known for its superior camera performance and it’s my hope that the 13MP unit at the back of the Galaxy J7 (2016) lives up to these standards. Besides the 13MP camera at the back, there is a 5MP one in front.

We will know more about the Galaxy J7 (2016) and probably see its official launch in the coming weeks.
