    Specifications for the Huawei P9, P9 Max and P9 Lite Leak online

    For some time now, we have known that Huawei was planning to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Huawei P9, P9 Lite and P9 Max sometime next month. We have seen leaks and rumors about these devices and their alleged specifications and features which were never officially confirmed by Huawei so we could not believe them wholeheartedly.

    Even before Huawei officially confirms the specs of its 2016 flagship, an online retailer, Oppomart, has published the complete list of specifications of the Huawei P9. P9 Lite and P9 Max and their respective prices.

    The Huawei P9

    The first one on the list is the Huawei P9 which has a 5.2 inch display with a 1080p resolution. Powering this phone is the Kirin 950 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. Straight out of the box, the Huawei P9 will comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI on top.

    At the back it has a 12MP dual camera setup with Optical Image Stabilization with a 5MP front facing one. Still at the back is a 3,000mAh battery.

    The phone will be retailing at $500 (approximately Ksh 51,000). This price might go up when the phone is officially launched.

    Huawei P9 Render

    The Huawei P9 Lite

    The smaller brother to the P9, the Huawei P9 Lite will have a 5 inch 1080p display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 650 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. It will also come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI on top.

    For the camera, the P9 Lite with have a 12MP dual camera setup at the back with a 5MP front facing one. The battery is smaller at only 2500 mAh.

    Its retail price is listed as $300 (approximately Ksh 30,000).

    The Huawei P9 Max

    The last one and the biggest of the three is the Huawei P9 Max which comes with a 6.2 inch display with a QHD resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. This one will be powered by the Kirin 955 processor combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. It will also come with Android Marshmallow with EMUI on top.

    It has the same 12MP dual camera setup at the back with an 8MP one in front for all your selfies. As for the battery, it has a 3000mAh unit.

    The price of the Huawei P9 Max is expected to be $700 (approximately Ksh 71,000).
